This includes but is not limited to issues such as pelvic pain, incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
Pessary assessment
Pessaries are medical devices used to support and manage pelvic organ prolapse. The physiotherapist can assess, fit, and provide ongoing support for individuals using pessaries.
The process of having a pessary fitted starts with a consultation and assessment. This is then followed by a fitting consultation. Finally, patients will get the opportunity to be reassessed by the physiotherapist at their two week check up.
